Plain-English terms for training with us, and a clear account of what happens to the details you share.

Terms of Training

Fair terms, agreed before you fly

These terms cover trial lessons, courses and aircraft hire at Hangar 7, Croydon Airport, London. Anything course-specific is confirmed in writing at enrolment.

Ask About a Course

Bookings & discovery flights

A booking is confirmed once we reply with a date, time and instructor. Discovery flights last around 30 minutes in the left seat with an instructor beside you, and make-up time is offered if weather stops us flying.

Prices & payment

Course prices are listed on our pricing page and honoured for the quoted training period. Trial lessons are paid at booking; longer courses can be paid in instalments agreed before the first lesson.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Rearrange free of charge with at least 48 hours notice. Weather and maintenance cancellations are always rescheduled, never charged. Repeated late arrivals may be shortened so the next student still departs on time.

Fitness & student responsibilities

Tell us before flying about any medical condition, medication or injury that could affect safety, and arrive rested and fit to fly. Your instructor has the final word on whether any flight goes ahead.

Privacy Promise

Your details stay yours

We collect only what training and communication need, we never sell personal data, and you can ask for a copy or deletion at any time.

What we collect

Contact and booking messages (name, email, phone and what you ask us), newsletter sign-ups (email only), and training records such as bookings, briefings and logbook progress for enrolled students.

How we use it

To answer enquiries, arrange lessons, keep training records and — only with your consent — send the newsletter with early discount offers and school updates. Unsubscribe any time from any email.

Sharing & retention

Details stay inside the school except where running your training requires it, such as scheduling systems. Enquiry messages are kept for up to two years; student training records for six years; newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing hello@skyquill.aero or calling +44 20 7946 0018. We respond within one month.
